This is where the "Vanity Press" concept comes into play. I will, for your amusement and amazement, publish some of the photos that have been gathering dust for twenty years, and a few more that were taken recently.
I bought my first 35 mm camera when I was 19 and serving the U. S. Army in Germany. I am currently in the process of scanning the dozens of rolls of film that I took before the camera was ripped off after college and just before I got my first "real" job.
I purchased another camera near the end of 1998. The first thing I had to do was to reacquaint myself with the variety of film that is now available.
I miss my old camera. Eventually, I'll acquire the variety of lenses that I used to have.
Meanwhile, I'll continue to use what I have and scan the large pile of negatives and slides that I have accumulated in the past twenty years. Included in that pile are, of course, the standard flower and sunset pictures.
Copyright notice: All of the pictures that I post are protected by international copyright laws. They have not been released to public domain.
They are free for personal use without asking. If you wish to publish them on a web page, a poster, or any paper publication, simply send me email. I will most likely grant permission to use the images for free. I may even send you better images.
If you intend to use the images for a web page or publication that is pornographic in nature, please don't bother to ask. You will not receive permission.
If there are sufficient requests, I will format some images for use as wallpaper. Don't forget to specify the preferred resolution.
Note: Some of these pictures look pretty bad when displayed with 8 bit or 16 bit color (256 color or high color). All are stored as 24 bit (true color) jpg files.
Note: Some of the pictures appear in more than one place. They will seem to appear more quickly the second time around because your browser has already downloaded them.
